Transcription
Dave Herbold: The first thing was the location and it was a good place to work. So there was that. And many supervisors knew how to sign. So no one struggled. We had people working there from Israel, South America, Germany, from all different types of places. So we felt like everyone else. Many women worked there too. Not as many men. It used to be a man’s world, but women started to work there. It was a flexible job. I worked during the day, but if there was night work I transferred to that shift. Most were hearing, yes. Different hearing people. There were a few Deaf supervisors. Some were fill-in supervisors. But I recognized that there was a slow steady increase of Deaf supervisors.
