Transcription

Sue Ayers: My days off were Monday and Tuesday, or Tuesday and Wednesday, or Wednesday and Thursday. So my social life amounted to zilch. Deaf community events happened on Friday and Saturday nights. But I was at work. So my social life was really with the people I worked with. If we had the same days off, like Wednesday and Thursday, we would get together and do something. Also, that meant I got to know a person from work but also outside of work as friends. They became like my sisters and brothers.
