Video Description

The video begins with a title slide featuring a line drawing of a figure depicting the handshapes F-L-O-O-R-M-A-N for the vocabulary term, floorman. Next in a video recording, Tom Zarembka, a white older man, defines the term in American Sign Language. He stands in front of a blue screen in a film studio.

Transcription

The word “Floorman” meant someone who worked on making up the variety of ads. The sign for that was FLOORMAN, which demonstrated how they made-up pages, locked them in place, and then sent them on for printing. That’s about it!
