<text>The video begins with a title slide featuring a line drawing of a figure depicting the handshapes and movement for the vocabulary term, Slug. At mid-torso, the signer uses both hands in H handshapes, palms oriented toward the signer, to depict the laying of lead slugs in a galley. The non-dominant hand remains still. In front of the non-dominant hand, toward the viewer, the dominant hand rotates at the wrist so that the fingers are oriented upwards, then horizontal, then upward again in a repeating movement. With each upward movement, the hand moves forward, away from the non-dominant handshape. Next in a video recording, Brian Brizendine, a white older male, defines the term in American Sign Language. He stands in front of a blue screen in a film studio.</text>
